I agree with your general sense that there are way way too many pressure on women on what vagina should look like, be groomed like and smell...and labiaplasty is on an incredible rise! "they just want to feel more comfortable in intimate situations, in the locker room of their health club and in form-fitting lower body garments". OMG.

Now I thing the positive of the study you quote is that "35.5% of men had a strong dislike for the vagina smell, while only 14.8% of women personally didn’t like their odor."....which seems to indicate that many people (men and women) have no problem with it ;).
